What does a VIP ticket include?

Please check the ticketing link for your date to see specifically what your show’s VIP includes. The majority of the dates’ VIP experience includes a priority viewing area, a private bar with specialty cocktails, a commemorative SSF laminate, and first entry into the festival grounds.

Where do I get my VIP laminate?

Your laminate will be available for pick up at the venues box office!

Are the shows all ages? Is VIP all ages?

Yes, Sad Summer Fest is all ages. VIP tickets are also all ages, however the private bar is only available to fans 21+.

I can no longer attend the tour, can I get a refund?

The festival itself does not handle ticketing of the shows - you would need to check with point of purchase (where you bought your ticket from) regarding their policies.

What COVID-19 safety measures will be in place at Sad Summer Fest?

Our top priority at Sad Summer has always been safety, even before the pandemic. We work very hard to create a safe environment for our fans and take every concern seriously.

Sad Summer Fest is committed to following the local guidelines and recommendations for each show to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. We encourage you to check with your local venue or ticketing site for your show for the most up to date safety rules and guidelines regarding COVID-19.

Does Sad Summer Fest have an anti-harassment and safer spaces policy?

Yes, please review our rules section of the website for more information. Sad Summer Fest staff and crew undergo safer spaces training with Calling All Crows in an effort to ensure our shows are safer spaces.

What times do the bands play each day? Is there a schedule?

Sad Summer Fest doesn’t release a schedule for each date in advance, however, you can see on the ticketing pages the doors and start time for each show.

Is Sad Summer Fest accessible?

Each venue on Sad Summer Fest meets ADA standards, and as a festival we strive to go beyond that. Stay tuned, we will update our site as accessibility information becomes available - but if you have specific accessibility questions, please reach out to info@sadsummerfest.com and we will be happy to work with you directly.

Will meet & greets happen this year at Sad Summer Fest?

Several artists plan on hanging out with fans between doors & the opening bands set! More info coming soon.

There will be NO PAID meet and greet opportunities at SSF24!

Can I obtain a press pass to shoot the festival?

Limited media opportunities are available at Sad Summer Fest, please check back closer to the start of the festival for information on how to apply for a press pass. Please note, due to the high volume of inquiries our team receives, press pass requests sent via email will not be considered.

Can I bring a water bottle?

Yes! In an effort to reduce our single-use plastic output, reusable bottles are encouraged. You will be asked to empty the bottle to go through security before entering the festival. You can take advantage of our free on site water stations to fill up and stay hydrated throughout the day. Please note, no metal bottles will be permitted.

Am I allowed to leave the festival and return?

Re-entry is determined by the local venues in each market, please check with the ticketing sites for your date for more info.

Does Sad Summer Fest happen rain or shine?

The festival can proceed in the cases of light rain without flooding or lighting. In the event of severe inclement weather that compromises the safety of fans, artists, or crew - Sad Summer Fest may stop or delay the show until it is safe to resume. We recommend staying tuned to Sad Summer Fest’s social media for day of show updates.

What is your bag policy?

Please check with your local venue on their bag policy! We will provide this info as well as we get closer to your show date!
